Humans
Where the humans come from is quite a mystery. Are these a result from inbreeding among elves? Some elves actually call humans they don't like for inbreed, while some suspects that the human race actually is some form of night people. Whatever the other inhabitants of Kumgolia say, the humans find themselves a very important part of Kumgolia, since they are curious and quite fond of inventing things they think they need. They tend to go a little bit too far of their high thoughts about themselves though, which could lead to a war, or even the failure of a society if things go way too wrong. The humans in Kumgolia have increased their population numer quite a lot during the past 1000 years, but this doesn't concern elves and other older inhabitants of Kumgolia that much. Their cockyness and short time to gain enough experience will keep the humans in control, the older elves say.

Wurkos
Wurkos are the forest people of that lives in smaller tribes inside the many forests of Kumgolia. Some believe that they originally were an animal mix that had some more human parts than animal parts inside themselves. Their slightly furry bodies, the fangs and the strange ears speaks for the animal side, while their slightly cocky personal nature speaks for the human side, but no-one is quite sure wheter that's true or not. Wurkos seldom leave their tribe and feels pretty homesick when not being near a forest. But if they meet someone outside their tribe they really like, they can be loyal to this person until the very end and doesn't care how far from home they are.

Animal people
The story of the animal mixes is a very strange one. No-one knows if this really is the truth since no-one can really confirm it, but since no other stories have sounded any better this is the official explanation. People say that it usually start with someone in Kumgolia who makes a magician really angered. And when a magician gets really angered, he or she'd go as far as turning the person in question to an animal.This cursed person would probably be sad for a little while, until some more animalic instincts kicks in and the person starts to live a new life as an animal. And, well, eventually, this animal maybe makes another animal give birth, or gives birth itself, to some cute baby animals. What these babies doesn't know for now, is that their mum, or dad, was cursed with this animal curse, and that they now have got humanoid genes in themselves, ready to unleash when the curse wears off. So, eventually, when these animals have lived for some years, they maybe wake up one day, finding themselves have more or less human looks. Of course, since they are the children of a human and an animal, they look more or less like an animal with human forms. So basically, people say that animal mixes are the children of people that have been cursed with an animal spell. Animal mixes are usually considered as freaks and can be treated lower than night people at certain places. This is probably why you seldom see animal mixes that frequently in Kumgolia, they are too afraid to get caught and tortured. There are some well-hidden tribes of animal mixed people inside the forests of Kumgolia, and stomping into one of these tribes when not being an animal mix would be quite a dumb thing to do.

Demons
Tall, bleach skinned, bewinged and fanged, demons are probably the most feared people in Kumgolia. They grow very slowly (one demon year is about 100 human years), and have their own home in a world where time passes much faster than in Kumgolia. In this world, only demons can enter, and other people can only see this world as a vauge mirage on cloud-free nights up in the sky. Few know much about these mysterious demons, some say they can be helpful while some say they are rude, obnoxious and even dangerous! It's known that demons can steal energy from other beings if they run out of it by themselves, but no-one has ever heard of a demon killing another person in this way. Demons are seldom seen in Kumgolia, but if they are, there must be something of great importance going on there.
